Apply for this role

This isn't a role for running a marketing calendar. It's the job of building the growth engine for a proven B2B technology company, and owning what it delivers.

Push builds ecommerce and product-data technology. We have deep proof in the cycling industry, established customers, strong results, and a platform with the potential to travel internationally and, where the evidence supports it, into new verticals.

Put simply: we have more proof than we currently have reach. The product works and customers get results. Too few of the organisations we want to win know that, yet. This role exists to change that.

The mandate

You will own growth marketing across our two propositions:

  • Push Platform ecommerce technology for retailers and brands.
  • Push SDM product-data technology for brands and distributors.

Your job

Your job is to make Push visible, credible and compelling to the right organisations, and to turn that attention into qualified commercial opportunities for the New Business Manager working alongside you. Pipeline is a shared number between the two roles, rather than a handover.

We won't hand you a quota of posts, emails and blogs. We'll give you a clear commercial outcome, open access to the business and the resources to pursue it. Working out the smartest route is a key part of the job.

How we think about marketing

This is how the role has been designed, and how we'll work together:

  • Outcomes over output. Activity is easy to count and easy to confuse with progress. We measure marketing by the opportunities and revenue it helps create.
  • Start with the customer. The best insight comes from talking to customers and prospects, not from guessing behind a screen. You'll be on calls, at events and in the room.
  • Positioning before promotion. Before we turn up the volume, we make sure each proposition has a sharp answer to: who is it for, what problem does it solve, and why Push?
  • Small bets, fast learning. Test, measure, double down on what works and stop what doesn't, quickly and without ceremony.
  • AI-native by default. Use AI and modern tools to do the work of a much larger team, without sacrificing quality or judgement.
  • Craft still matters. B2B doesn't have to be dull. Clear thinking, good writing and well-made assets win attention and trust.

What success looks like

  • First 30 days: learn. Get under the skin of the business. Sit in on sales conversations, speak to customers, audit what we have (website, CRM, content, data) and form your own view of where the biggest opportunities are.
  • By 60 days: plan. Bring a focused growth plan: target customers for each proposition, positioning and messaging, the channel bets you want to make and how we'll measure them. Agree it with the founders and Sales, and ship some early wins along the way.
  • By 90 days: run. Campaigns are live, reporting on pipeline is in place, and the first qualified opportunities can be traced back to your work.
  • At 12 months. Push is recognised and credible in our target markets. Marketing is a meaningful, measured source of pipeline. We have real evidence on where to grow next, whether that's a new region or a new vertical.

What the work looks like

The mix should follow the commercial opportunity, not a fixed calendar. In any given month you might be:

  • Defining positioning and messaging that makes each proposition instantly clear to its buyer.
  • Building targeted campaigns aimed at a specific segment, market or list of accounts.
  • Turning customer results into proof: case studies, references and stories Sales can use.
  • Sharpening sales assets, from proposals to pitch materials, with the New Business Manager.
  • Reaching defined markets on LinkedIn and the other channels where our buyers actually spend time.
  • Working with our paid-media specialists to put budget behind what's proven to work.
  • Helping product and development communicate what's new in terms customers care about.
  • Activating partnerships and representing Push at industry events with energy and credibility.
  • Making things yourself (a professional asset, a landing page, a short video) when that's the fastest route.

Who you are

  • A doer. Ideas matter; execution matters more. You'd rather ship something good this week than something perfect next quarter.
  • Commercially curious. You want to know why customers buy, and you're comfortable picking up the phone to find out.
  • Resourceful. When you need something, your first instinct is to work out how to get it.
  • A strong generalist. You're confident across LinkedIn and social, modern design tools, email and web platforms, CRM and analytics, without needing to be the deepest specialist in each.
  • A natural collaborator, not a dependent one. You work closely with Sales, customers, paid media, product and the founders, and still keep things moving on your own.
  • Comfortable with ownership. You want to be measured on commercial outcomes, and you're honest about what's working and what isn't.

You'll stand out if

  • You have created B2B demand, not just managed marketing activity.
  • You have worked in SaaS, technology, ecommerce or another commercially focused B2B environment.
  • You can show us things you personally made happen, and the difference they made.
  • You have worked in a smaller or scaling business where resourcefulness mattered.
  • You know what to do on a Monday morning when nobody has given you a list.

What you'll get

  • Real ownership. A clear remit, the trust to make decisions, and accountability for the result.
  • Direct access. To the founders, customers, commercial data and the technology itself.
  • Proper support. Specialist paid-media capability, design and production support, AI tools, and a New Business Manager as your commercial partner.
  • Room to grow. As the engine proves itself, the function, and your role within it, can grow with it.
  • £40,000–£45,000 + bonus. Hybrid, based in Clevedon/Bristol.
